Just thought I'd share our house cleaning schedule with everyone...
I don't like when our house is dirty - dust grosses me out. I wanted to hire a cleaning person but Dave was against it.
We came up with an agreement that has been working well for the last few months. It takes time but the results are great! We used to clean on the weekends but dreaded doing this because Elijah doesn't care and we want to relax on the weekends.
We divided our house in two sections (mainly upstairs and downstairs). By Wednesday of a certain week, we have to clean one section of the house. The next week, we clean the other section. We both have our duties and the "by Wednesday" part is key just in case we are not able to clean a certain night. (Of course we help the other person out if the bathrooms are taking longer than usual, etc.) We usually clean the same night together so can get everything done in 1 - 2 hours. Our house is by no means spotless but it's nice to live in a house that isn't completely dirty.
