I've been meaning to blog about this topic for a while. Elijah has mastered prolonging the bedtime routine. Here's some stuff he has done (not every night but probably at least any two of these).
1. Says, "Wants to cuddle" - yeah right, buddy. And of course I give in because he never wants to cuddle.
2. Says, "Read me the words" in a book. This includes the section that isn't meant to be read such as the page that has the copyright, publisher, author, illustrator, etc.
3. Asks for water.
4. Asks for more songs to sing.
...and lastly...
5. Says, "I want to read the bible" - haha. Smart kid! :)
