Day 8
All good things must come to an end and it was time to fly back to MSP. Elijah enjoyed the birds, ceiling fans, family, business of going out a lot and constant attention. Everyone had a great time on the trip and we hope to make it back someday.

Family picture before leaving the house.
We had an interesting flight back. Our flight was delayed 30 minutes due to the typical light bulb change. Then Delta found out the de-icer on the plane didn't work so our non-stop flight turned out to be a stop in Atlanta to get on a different plane. In Fort Myers, we were on the tarmac for two hours as they de-fueled the plane since we were flying to Atlanta instead. Elijah got very antsy and tired but overall, he did really well on the plane ride again. We brought 24 oz of milk and he drank all of it! He ate lots of airplane snacks.
Elijah was sooooo cute at the airport. He got so excited and loved pushing the carry-on luggage around. Dave was with him so I got to watch him from afar and at one point, there were 10 - 15 people smiling and/or watching him. Such a cute boy but I'm bias.
Luggage is so much fun.
Elijah also played peek-a-boo within the handle of the luggage with Dave...haha.

What a fun trip! But an awful flight home. Don't these people realize that with a toddler, we just need to do as little plane time as possible? Glad you survived!
