We celebrated Elijah's 2nd birthday on 8/24 (getting behind again). He had fun at his birthday party! He can sing the "Happy Birthday" part of that song and have it on video, way too cute.
Elijah got lots of trucks and construction related stuff.

Dinner! He can be a picky eater. He eats a lot but only if it is on his approved list.
Time to open presents...and getting pretty good at it!

When Elijah saw his trike, he opened his mouth in awe - silent excitement. The expression on his face was priceless (thankfully Dave saw his face too).
Elijah still has no interest in cake. Weird. He got construction silverware for his birthday so he had fun "digging and moving dirt" with the cake. Do not worry, we usually do let him act this way, only because it was his birthday!
He carried his constructions spoon around after and hit balloons with the spoon...
Elijah was very excited with all of the attention and everyone kept throwing balloons at him...laughing hysterically. Balloons are such a great cheap toy.
Overall, Elijah had fun at his party!
