Elijah's First Shiner

Elijah fell down at daycare yesterday.  He fell on a window sill and got his first shiner.  Who knew windows were so dangerous?  No glue or stitches, just a cute (very) little bruise.  Today, he got his first "Ouch Report" from daycare...haha.

I'm kind of surprised it took this long to get an injury.  Elijah can't walk yet.  He falls down quite often because he thinks he can walk.  In the middle or a room, he stands up and takes steps like he can walk (but falls down pretty quickly after taking a step).  I don't know, maybe this is normal behavior??

Quite a few times, he's taken a few unassisted steps but definitely does not have the skill of walking like he thinks he does!

 

You have to look closely to see his eye, it just looks like he's wearing eyeshadow.
