The past few weeks have been tough. We think Elijah is getting lots of teeth so he's very moody. We are thankful that he was in a good mood tonight, below are a couple of fun moments.
Dave: Elijah, what noise does a sheep make?
Elijah: Baa!
Dave: What noise does a cow make?
Elijah: Baa!
Dave: No, it goes "moo". What noise does a duck make?
Elijah: Baa!
Dave: No, it goes "quack, quack". What noise does a kitten make?
Elijah: Baa!

Sometimes Elijah is good at listening to us and other times (most of the time), he's not. An example of the conversation tonight:Dave: Elijah, what noise does a sheep make?
Elijah: Baa!
Dave: What noise does a cow make?
Elijah: Baa!
Dave: No, it goes "moo". What noise does a duck make?
Elijah: Baa!
Dave: No, it goes "quack, quack". What noise does a kitten make?
Elijah: Baa!

While paging through Elijah's new animal book, I decided to teach Elijah which animals we (humans) eat. So when we saw a chicken, I would say, "We eat those." He seemed interested in his lesson but Dave thought it was a ridiculous conversation. My theory: teach him truths at a young age. #tigermom
